Get up and GO!!

Posted by admin on August 5th, 2010

Does receiving the power of God compel Christians to work with great energy gusto? Not at all! People can be strong but lazy. Perhaps they never do anything else with their gift than use it to build their own muscles and to feel nice. The kind of power some people ask God for is really compulsion – overcoming their lethargy, overwhelming their fears and reluctance. They want God to give them such a push that they can’t help but go propelled into service. That’s just pie in the sky. God never compels you to serve him in spite of yourself. No unseen force will lever us out of our arm chair into the street. To get up and go is our part of the bargain. Arise!

Luke 11:13 GOD’S WORD® Translation (©1995)
Even though you’re evil, you know how to give good gifts to your children. So how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?”
Wow this scripture keeps coming to me after the busy day I had. Starting off the morning like everyone else, dragging myself out of bed, not looking forward to what I had to accomplish today. Deadlines had come and gone and yet the product was not ready for delivery. I get to work (I own my own business) right as I get into full production on my machinery, when I get a call that my son has a problem that needed immediate attention. I shut my machine off after 30 minutes. Call my son back who was very upset about several problems his family was having. He was not sure what to do and he had no resources to do it with.
I left the office thinking I would be back in a hour, Ha Ha didn’t get back till 9:00 p.m. that night. But I was just thinking of what all I had to do, and the most amazing thing is when he ask for help I drop everything and we got what needed to be done accomplished. It was a good feeling to know that when my kids need help I turn into the machine to get things done, and solve their problems for them. I guess its just a parents nature to continue to care for your kids no matter how old they are.
Can you see how much our heavenly father cares for us. I know that he see’s our troubles and cares so very deeply, and our response to Him is “OH he is busy” why would he care about me. Psalms 139:7 says I can never escape from your spirit. I can never get away from your presence. Verse 15& 16 says You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Everyday of my life was recorded in your book. God was so excited about you being born that He watched you and recorded what he saw, it thrilled him to see you, to know you. We need to remember HOW MUCH HE LOVES US!! He wants us to come to Him with every little and big problem. Sometimes after we ask God for help we have to stand back and let Him work things out. I didn’t solve my son’s problems in five minutes, so let God work and let Him work things out for you. Sometimes we need to stand back after we ask God for help and learn to cast the care of that thing that we asked and leave it alone until He can work it out. Knowing that He has our best interest at heart.
Say with me right now ” Thank you Father for loving and caring about everything in my life, You are so good”
Many Blessings

Prayer for the Lost to come to know Jesus

Posted by admin on July 22nd, 2010

Father I come to you now in the mighty name of Jesus reminding you of what you did for me and who I am in you right now. Jesus, you came and paid the price for my sin, when I was lost and without hope and without you in this world. Father you, through Christ Jesus have restored me back into fellowship with you, and you gave me your righteousness and you made me your child and have crowned me a king and priest to you. You have given me all things that pertain to life and godliness, you have set me at your right hand in Christ Jesus, and you have given to me the keys of your kingdom. You told me that I was to take your place in this earth. So Father right now in Jesus name I lift up the lost to you, the lost that you love so much that you died for. John 20:23 says whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whoever sins ye retain, they are retained. Father by that love that you hold for these people I release their sins and I do not hold those sins against them. They are a lost people who are hurting and in need, and you sent Jesus that they would have a way of escape from satan, the condeemer and accuser of their soul. Father I remind you because of your love, the blood of an innocent man was shed, shed for all who would call upon you. And because of what Jesus did on the cross, I have a legal right through His Name to interceed on behalf of all men. You told me in Matt. 16:19 And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven: Whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. I bind the principalities, the powers, rulers of darkness of this world, every spiritual wickedness in high places. I remind you devil, of how Jesus defeated you when He went to hell. Col. 3:15 says He disarmed you and displayed you like a hunter would a trophy, and made a public example of your defeat, proclaiming victory on every corner. He is the triumphant King over every name in Heaven and hell. And I hold that blood against you devil this day. You must loose the minds of the people of this city, this state. I bind your mouth from the lies that you speak against the people – they will not listen to your lies of unrighteousness, saying their not good enough. I loose you Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of those to receive The Word of God. Open their ears o hear.I loose the freedom of the Word of salvation and revival to every person in this city and state in Jesus Name. Salvation and revival to every life I come in contact with, every life I come around, every eye that gazes my way, I speak the conviction power of the Holy Ghost to come upon them and turn them from their wickedness that they will know you. That my very life will be a witness for you. That your glory and anointing and power will flow out of me to those that are in need. Amen!

Lord you know me, even better than I know myself

Psalms 139
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my every thought when far away. You chart my path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You both precede and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to know! I can never escape from your spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, Oh God! They are innumerable! I cant even count them: They outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me! Search me, Oh God, and know my thoughts. Point out anything that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Amen

Go

People speak of “the call of the prophet” in Isaiah chapter six. But he never was called. He volunteered. Isaiah overheard God say “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us” as if addressing another partner in the Godhead. He did not say “Isaiah, will you go?” Isaiah realized God would send anybody willing. He ventured to offer himself. “Here I am. Send me”. The Lord did not hesitate or ask Isaiah to submit his C.V. first. He just said, “Go!” Isaiah’s God is our God. Let’s go!

God has not called us to be clever

Posted by admin on May 15th, 2010

God has not called us to be clever and defeat all the arguments of unbelievers. You don’t win souls by winning arguments. No, “God was pleased through the foolishne¬ss of what was preached to save those who believe” (1 Corinthians 1:21).
Christ said to Peter, “You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men” (Matthew 16:23), which really means, “You think as men think.” If we try to fight the devil on the level of human thought, he will out-think us every time. Arguing about God is a chess game, which the devil has played all through history. He knows every move. He will checkmate us almost as soon as we start. He knows all the answers. But the Word of God gives us God’s thoughts. Spoken in the power of the Holy Spirit, we can stand up to Satan’s twisted logic just as Jesus did.
All we have to do is to preach the Word. We rely upon Him by faith. Then there is a mighty victory. Can you say AMEN?

The Oceans Mighty Force, God is Greater

Psalms 103:8 Merciful and gracious is Jehovah, Slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.
How do you think of God our father? Most people think that God is removed from our problems, our hurts, our fears. We have an image of God as someone who sits on the throne so busy that He doesn’t care about our little problems, no matter how big they are to us, we think they are nothing to God.
The truth is, that God shares in or sorrow and our pain. He not only has a fathers heart He also is coaching us. You say is He coaching us?

“For your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Matthew 6:8
He see’s what we need before we even ask. Whenever we rest and trust in Him, (Proverbs 3:5) He begins to direct people and things to come across our paths that will take care of those needs of ours.
God is like the ocean, its so big and massive, just imagine if you could hold the ocean over the earth. And then release it, could you imagine the power it would have, it would literally change the earth, it would seek out every nook and cranny, and pour itself in there. WOW what a thought! Well that is what God is doing for us. When we begin to trust Him and rest in Him and begin to allow Him to take control of our situations, no matter how BIG or SMALL they may be, we allow the great provider to begin to find those nooks and cranny’s in our lives and He steps in and fills them with Himself, then things begin to change for us, things that were hard, suddenly begins to flow and become easy, things begin to make sense, worries melt away, stress begins to ease. 1 Peter 5:7 Amp. Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. You see God is our coach, as we walk thru life, He is on the sidelines, running up and down, telling us to do this or do that. Sometimes its pleasant sometimes its not so pleasant, BUT He wants us to WIN, WIN, WIN. He is your biggest fan.
All we have to do is have faith, and say God I Believe.
God loves you tremendously, He’s YOUR BIGGEST FAN.
Sit down and let Him know you trust Him.
Let me stand with you, and agree for that situation in life to change!

Moving Forward

Posted by admin on January 21st, 2010

Where are you in life? Are you finally in a place that you are comfortable or maybe in a place that is familiar. The hardest thing in life for many people to do is to keep going forward. Paul writes in Phillipians 3:14 Weymouth New Testament
with my eyes fixed on the goal I push on to secure the prize of God’s heavenward call in Christ Jesus. The past is comfortable because we have already been there and we have seen it, some of us still live it. It’s time to let go and press into what God has for us. The greater prize in Christ lays ahead of us. The past does not take effort, the future does, along with faith and trusting God. God has good things instore for you, blessings that you can’t even imagine. Take today to get into the Word of God and think about what God wants you to accomplish, then trust Him and step out in faith, and run the race.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

These Times Talked About In The Bible

1 Timothy 3:1-5, 13-16
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Earthquakes, tsunami’s, war’s economy in crisis. Let me tell you and there is no doubt that this is what the bible has been talking about in the end times. It is time to make sure we are ready to see Jesus face to face. The Son of God is coming it’s time to make a decision. Accept, believe, go to heaven. DO NOT BELIEVE – GO TO HELL!!
Make a decision it’s your choice!!
CHOSE LIFE. Say this with me, Father I believe that Christ died for me, come into my heart!!
